MELROSE DUTCHMEN AND LADY DUTCHMEN TRACK AND FIELD
The 2014 Dave Sieben Invite was held this afternoon with 14 team participating. Melrose had two three first place finishes.
The 4X800 Relay Team of Brent Blommel, Brian Thielen, Garrett Hoeschen took first with a honor roll qualifying time of 8:45.05.
Lydia Butkowski won the Long Jump and Triple Jump events for the Lady Dutchmen. Her triple jump distance of 33-3.75 qualifier for an honor roll listing.
The meet was halted after 12 events because of rains. Events that were no held were the boys' and girls 200, 3200, 300 hurdles and 4X400 relay. The girls' pole vault and boys high jump were also cancelled.
Earning runners-up honors was Caleb Rothfork in the boys' triple jump.

Melrose's next meet is next week Thursday at the West Central Confence meet in Paynesville.
