MELROSE LADY DUTCHMEN SOFTBALL:
Melrose fell 2-1 to Montevideo in the first game of the double-header and 9-5 in the second game. In the opener four different players accounted for the four Melrose hits. Sandra Sprenger allowed only three hits in the loss. In the night cap Melrose rallied for five in the fourth to take a 5-4 lead but allowed five in the sixth inning. Again four different players had one hit each for Melrose. Kayla Austing and Justine Revermann had a hit in both games
MELROSE DUTCHMEN BASEBALL:
Melrose fell 5-4 and 2-1 to at Montevideo this afternoon. In the first game Anthony Welle had two hits in both games.
