MELROSE LADY DUTCHMEN SOFTBALL:
The Lady Dutchmen fell 5-3 to Sauk Centre this afternoon at Sauk Centre. Melrose was never able overcome the 4-0 first inning lead Sauk Centre built take the win. Melrose staged rallies in the fourth and seventh innings to cut into the lead.
Justine Revermann led Melrose with two hits and Sandra Sprenger had two steals. Morgan Notch was charged with the loss.
Melrose next plays this tomorrow.
