MELROSE LADY DUTCHMEN SOFTBALL:


The Lady Dutchmen downed Benson 10-4 at Benson. The win was the 100th in the coaching career of Coach Jamie Kinzer.
Nikki Zierden and Justine Revermann lead Melrose with three hit each. Sandra Sprenger had a double an three RBI. Morgan Notch walked one and struck out six in a complete game victory.
MELROSE DUTCHMEN GOLF:
Melrose finished fifth in a WCC match at Atwater this morning. Merose was led by Blake Loxtercamp, Isaac Lieser and Jacob Dickhaus. All three shot a 42 on the day and finished tied for ninth.  Melrose had a team score of 175.
In the match at Paynesville in the afternoon, the Dutchmen shot 189 as a team. Lieser's 42 lead Melrose. He tied for fourth place.
MELROSE LADY DUTCHMEN GOLF: 
Brooklyn Loxtercamp's 52 led the Lady Dutchmen who finished with a 244 and in eighth place in the team standings at Paynesville this morning.  In the afternoon match at Atwater, Loxtercamp tied for sixth with a 43. Melrose as a team finished in eighth place.
MELROSE DUTCHMEN AND LADY DUTCHMEN TRACK AND FIELD:
The Boys 4X800 relay team finished at 8:47.42 to claim first place in this afternoon at New London. It was the only first captured by the boys. Team members are: Zach Zink, Brent Blommel, Garrett Hoeschen and Brian Thielen.
In the girls meet Melrose dominated the triple jump with Lydia Butkowski, (34-10),  Madison Brinkman (32-7) and Jailyn Brinkman (32-5) taking first, second and third. Delany Anderson at 28-5 finished in 10th place.
The Melrose boys finished fourth and the girls finished in fifth place.
