Dutchmen at home tonight

A good start by members of the 200MR teams 
helped the  Lady Dutchmen top Foley.
Football
The Melrose Dutchmen play their final regular season home game to night facing Holdingford. The game is a big one for both. They are both coming off homecoming wins and a win will help their seeding in the up coming playoffs.
Playoffs
The Lady Dutchmen tennis post season is underway. Melrose fell 7-0 in the team playoffs to Sauk Centre last week. In the individual tournament Jessie and Paige Danzl both fell in the opening round of the individual contest. In doubles contest McKayla Schleper and Allie Toenies won their first contest, but fell in the second. Haiden Rausch and Hanna Wiechmann were edged in their first contest.
The soccer teams' season have ended the Dutchmen fell 5-0 to Sartell and the Lady Dutchmen fell 8-0 also to Sartell.
Volleyball
The volleyball team is nearing the end of its regular season. It has a match Tuesday at Sauk Centre. It is coming off a week in which it fell 3-0 to Morris on Tuesday and defeated Minnewaska 3-0 on Thursday.
Swimming
The swim team competes in the Section True Team tomorrow earlier this week it defeated Foley 98-88 with the 200FSR team setting a pool record at Melrose.
Cross Country
Both the boys and girls teams finished third at Albany on Tuesday. Preston Poepping finished second in the boys race.
Powder puff

The seniors won the annual powder puff game on Monday. It had been delay a week because of wet conditions on the field.  Video clips from the game can be seen at https://youtu.be/bKUilgUe32k
