The Melrose Lady Dutchmen won three of the
six vaulting medals at the state tournament Saturday as Kayla Austing (left)
finished third, Camryn Brinkman (third from right) took fourth and Greta
Klaphake sixth. Mady Brinkman (right photograph, left side) tied with Jada
Olsen of Perham from first place on the bars. Austing was also fourth and the
beam, fifth on the floor and fourth all-around. Mady Brinkman finished third on

MSC Fusion
MSC Fusion had number of people qualify for
state next week Swimming in the state meet will be:
Isaac Schreiner: 200MR, 100FS, 100BK, and
400FSR.
Dylan Fleischhacker: 200MR, 100BT.
Kenny Warzecha: 200MR, 50FS, 100FLY,
400FSR.
Spencer Van Beck: 200MR, 500FS. 400FSR.
Nathan Douvier: 400FSR
Warzecha, voted Section swimmer of the
year, won the 100FLY and 50FS
SCM Wrestling
SCM Wrestling
Antonio Ortz, 106 and Jordan Winter,
132, won their division and
qualified for the state tournament this coming weekend in St. Paul. Winter is making his third trip to
state.
Others placing well were: Luke Glasener,
152, fifth; Bryce Stalboerger, 170, fifth; Roberto Raya, 195, fourth; Sam
Sjorgren, 285, fourth.
