 Lady Dutchmen Tennis
Melrose moved to 9-2 overall win a 5-2 win over Yellow Medicine East. The young Lady Dutchmen faced a more experienced team in the match and it showed. Four the the contests went the third set. Melrose won at all but the third singles match (one of the three set matches) and the number one doubles match (another three set contest). Becky Klaphake (left photo) scored a two set win, but needed to go to 7-5 in the second set to do so. Haley Hoppe (right) took her match in three sets.  The number three doubles team of Harley Walker and Samantha Poepping (video) won in two sets to wrap up the night




Volleyball
The Lady Dutchmen won 3-1 over Montevideo this evening to remain unbeaten.  After taking the first two matches, Melrose fell in the third game, but came back strong for a 25-20 win in the fourth game.
Emily Goerdt's five point serving run game Melrose a 17-10 lead.  While Montevideo chipped into the lead Melrose did not surrender traded points to take the 25-22 win the fourth game.
Swimming
The Lady Dutchmen remained unbeaten in dual swim meets topping Willmar 112-78.
Melrose the top three in diving (Jewell Budde, Lauren Kingston and Samantha Dockendorf); 100FLY (Gabi Sawyer, Kara Stalboerger and Diana Nathe), and the 500FS (Stefanie Rasmussen, McKenna Von Wahlde and Allii Austing); first and second in the 100BK (Sawyer and Mikayla Von Wahlde);  claimed first in the 200FS (Rachael Kulzer, the 50FS (Savana Bitz),  and 400FS (Stalboeger, Nathen, Jordan Helmin and Hannah Miller)
