CROSS COUNTRY
The Dutchmen finished fourth in the meet at Long Prairie this afternoon. The Lady Dutchmen (photo above) ran an incomplete team.
Brian Thielen (left photo) was the top Melrose runner coming in at 19:05.92 to take 12th place. Melrose earned 114 points in the race. The scores for the top spots were close with Royalton winning at 51 points, Ottertail Central was runner up with 54 points and LP-GE third at 55 points.You can see the start of the boys race at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EdaP07KItII
The girls team ran incomplete, but Ashley Herdering claimed 15th place at 18:25.25. Morris was the team champion.
