Lady Dutchmen Swimming
The Melrose Lady Dutchmen are the 2016 West Central
Conference champions. The team had a number individuals take all-conference and
honorable mention honors Saturday, at St. Cloud Apollo’s pool (Holdingford
hosted the event). Makayla Von Wahlde (right) set the conference record for the
100BK at the meet. It is the 11th consecutive year the swim team has won the
WCC Crown. More information will appear in the Nov. 2 issue of the
Melrose Beacon.
