Melrose broke the shut out with a two-out two-run fifth inning rally. They benefitted from two errors in that inning. Mitch Waldvogel reach on an error, then scored when the second error was committed. Levi Feldewerd, who walked, scored on an RBI single by Colton Meyer. Meyer was charged with the loss.
