Melrose Baseball
Tyler Braegelmann's toss to catcher Anthony Revermann was too late to retire Foley's Alex Foss. Batter Grant Mumm (8) put down the bunt that scored the winning run.
Foley-4 Melrose-3
The Dutchmen’s season ended with a 4-3 loss to Foley in the Section 6AA playbacks in St. Cloud. Foley had taken a 3-0 lead in the third inning. While it executed bunts well that inning, it also had a triple from Andy Klucas.
The Dutchmen rallied for two runs in the third inning. Tyler Moscho started the rally with a single. Walks to Hunter Rademacher and Colton Meyer loaded the bases. Tyler Braegelmann pitched the first six innings, the singled in two runs.  Braegelmann’s two-out RBI double in the fifth scored Meyer to tie the game.
Foley regained the lead in the sixth, again using a bunt to push across the run. Falcon relief pitcher Alex Dietl stifled any rally attempts by retiring all seven batters he faced.
