Dutchmen Basketball
The Dutchmen basketball team’s season ended in a 67-59 loss
the Albany Huskies Wednesday, March 2 at Collegeville. Melrose had a first half led of 33-32.
Albany rallied in the second half to take a nine-point lead with eight minutes left. Melrose cut
that down to three with four minutes left but came no closer. Dillon Haider had 23 points to lead Melrose. Drake
Meyer added 11 more. Melrose
finishes its season at 26-3. More information on the game will be in the May 9 issue of the Melrose Beacon.
