Lady Dutchmen Basketball
A strong defensive effort in the second half helped the Lady Dutchmen basketball rally from a 31-30 half-time score to defeat BBE this evening at Melrose. Melrose picked up the pace in the second half, created scoring chances and made the most of them. Emily Goerdt scored 20 for Melrose and Gabi Sawyer had a strong second half and finished with 16 points. Justine Revermann 10 of her 12 points in the second half. Melrose-Sauk Centre Fusion
The Fusion claimed six firsts, seven of the top times of the night and swept the 200MR, 200FS, 100FLY and 100BT events tonight in Cold Spring They posted a 114-70 win. There were some strong performances from Jake Ellering and Ben Heller in the freestyle races. Kenny Warzecha (100FLY) and James Mignot (500FS) both had their best times of the year. MSC had the best time in the 400FSR, but swam the race as a exhibition.
SCM WrestlingThe SC-M wrestlers topped BBE. the team had pins from Antonio Ortiz (106), Jordan Winter (113) Will Funk (152), Clayton Mensen (195) and Jimmy Thomas (220).
Prairie Centre North Star Hockey
The North Stars traveled to Alexandria this and fell 5-0.
