Why are soccer balls multi colored?
Melrose Lady Dutchmen Lupe Botello (13), Ozzy Osborne (with glasses), Courtney Koepke (17) and Brooklyn Rieland (behind Koepke) converged on the ball and ball handler Monday, Oct. 1 in the game between Melrose and Becker. Trivia Answer
Television. Soccer balls were originally brown, then later bleached white. Either color was hard for people watching the games on black and white television. In the 1970 the addition of black panels on the ball made it easier to see on television.
