Courtney Koepke scored three goals for Melrose
The Melrose Dutchmen fall sports season is underway. Yesterday the Lady Dutchmen tennis
team split matches in a triangular at Melrose. The team defeated NLS 7-0, but fell 4-3 to Becker. There were a number of long points and a few tie-breakers in the matches.  Singles player Becky Klaphake and Madison Worms both went unbeaten on the day.
A rare event occurred in the soccer contests against Rocori. Melrose had three goals from Courtney Koepke in its 3-3 with the Spartans. They had barely finished their game with the boys team returned from Rocori with the news it had tied 3-3 with the Spartans. Francisco Cervantes scored two goals for Melrose.
Today the Lady Dutchmen swimmers are in action at Willmar.
