Melrose made key outs and had some timely hits in its 4-1
win over Benson/Hancock this afternoon at Melrose. Winning pitcher Sandra Sprenger had two hits
in the game Makayla Leraas drove in two runs and Avri Bitz scored twice.
Dutchmen Baseball
The
Dutchmen baseball team topped Cathedral 5-4 tonight in St. Cloud. Melrose (9-1) had had back-to-back doubles by
Colton Meyer and Adam Van Beck in the fifth inning to drive in the eventual
game winning runs.
