Melrose Baseball
Melrose split its double header with Montevideo falling 2-1
in the first game, but coming back with an 8-5 win the second game.
Anthony Welle double and scored for Melrose which tied the
game at 1-1 in the sixth inning. In he
seventh Montevideo scored the winning run.
In the second game Melrose had 13 hits with both Hunter
Rademacher and Colton Meyer getting three hits. Meyer, who took the loss in the
first game, pitched the first six innings to get the win in the second. Zak
Luetmer earned the save.
Melrose GolfThe Melrose girls finished seventh in the WCC contest at Morris. In their second match of the day, the Lady Dutchmen finished in eighth place.
The boys team took seven place in their second contest of
the day playing at Morris. Jacob Dickhaus finished tied for second place.
The Dutchmen finished fifth in the their first contest of the day at Morris. John Brang tied for 10th.Melrose Softball
The Lady Dutchmen travel to Montevideo for a double header today.
