LADY DUTCHMEN BASKETBALL: The Lady Dutchmen opened their 2013-14 season with a 54-50 win over Minnewaska this evening at Melrose.
Justine Revermann (photo left) dropped in three three-point shots from Melrose and finished with 16 points. Emily Goerdt score 21 for Melrose hitting and drives to the basket as well as long range shots (in video below)
LADY DUTCHMEN GYMNASTS: The Melrose gymnastics team score a 144.525 its best opening mark ever by the team.

SC-M WRESTLERS: SC-M began West Central Conference wrestling action with a dual against Morris Area/Hancock/Chokio-Alberta in Hancock. They competed with two open weights versus the three they had open in the Early Bird Invite but fell to a solid Tigers squad 45-25. Earning pins for SC-M were Antonio Ortiz and Dalton Reinke.
