Seniors Emily Hellerman and Kayla Uphus celebrate winning a point during the third set of their one doubles match against Sauk Centre yesterday...the duo won their match to give the Dutchmen a conference win over the rival Mainstreeters.

TENNIS
Sept. 6 at Sauk Centre
Melrose-4 Sauk Centre-3
Melrose won all three doubles matches in the win over Sauk Centre.  Number one doubles Kayla Uphus/Emily Hellermann won in three sets.  Hailey Brinkman, number 1 singles, was the only Lady Dutchmen to win a singles match.
SWIMMING
Sept. 6 at Melrose
Melrose-104 Holdingford-74
The Lady Dutchmen had the best time in the every event, had the top two times in most events and swept the 200 medley relay, diving and 100 freestyle races. The team swam the 100BK as an exhibition and finished 1-2-3.
VOLLEYBALL
Sept. 6 at Albany
Melrose-3 Albany-2
Melrose rallied from a 25-9 loss in the first and 25-21 in the third game, to win game two (25-16), game 3 (25-16) and game give 15-11.
FOOTBALL
Sept. 1 at Melrose
The Dutchmen moved the ball in the air and on the ground to post a 27-6 win over Yellow Medicine East.  Isaac Sawyer threw two touchdown passes. One to Andrew Welle, one to Tanner Klaphake. Klaphake also scored on the run as did Alex Welle.
