Melrose defeated WCC rival Sauk Centre 64-42 tonight at Melrose. The Dutchmen defense slowed the Mainstreeter offense. The offense created scoring opportunities both inside and outside. The Sauk Centre-Melrose were wrestlers finished fifth at the Willmar Invite. Wrestling in the championship round were Jordan Winter (126) and Will Funk (160). Funk earned the championship.
The North Stars fell 7-0 to Detroit Lakes this evening
