The Melrose-Sauk Centre Fusion Swim team finished in fourth in the Tiger division place this afternoon at the U of M Maroon and Gold Invite.

Lady Dutchmen Basketball

The Lady Dutchmen hung for a 52-50 victory over Mora this evening at Upsala. Melrose next plays tomorrow night in the championship. Mashaye Tschida's lay-up was the deciding basket.  Maci Blommel had 15 points and Mia Meyer had 14 points. Melrose faces ACGC in the championship tonight at 7 p.m. ACGC defeated Upsala 62-57. Dutchmen Basketball

The Dutchmen Basketball team defeated St. Cloud Cathedral 65-60 in the semi-finals of the Crusader Tournament. Tyler Braegelmann and Dillion Haider both had 22 points in the game Melrose faces Braham in the championship tonight. Braham defeated Pierz 93-67. In the consolation round Litchfield defeated Concordia Academy 67-52 and Watertown toppe Mandan 66-65.
Fusion Swimming

The Fusion swim team finished third at the Brainerd Invitational. The team had five second place finishes.
Prairie Centre Hockey
The Prairie Centre topped Bagley 6-2 in the Morris Tournament. They face Fairmont on Wednesday.

Dutchmen Basketball

Melrose was too quick for Watertown-Mayer and posted an 85-64 win over the Royals in the Crusader Classic.  Other first round winner were Braham-94 Concordia-60, Pierz-60 Litchfield-29, Cathedral-55 Mandan-49. Melrose had four players in double figures with Brady Birch leading the Dutchmen with 20 points. Dillon Haider had four of Melrose's eight three-point shots.  Watertown-Mayer's Trae Berhow finished with 33 points, including some dunks. Lady Dutchmen Gymnastics

The gymnasts scored a 146.9 in defeating Little Falls this evening in Melrose. Little Falls finished with a 101.75. Greta Klaphake, vault; Kayla Austing, floor, Mady Brinkman, bars, beam and all-around. earned first places. Video from the meet can be seen at https://youtu.be/3TkIE6-U3i8

Melrose Sauk Centre Fusion Swimming

The Fusion defeated Morris 92-34 this evening at Sauk Centre. M-SC had the fastest time in all races and swam the last five events as exhibition races.
Dutchmen Basketball
Melrose stayed unbeaten with a 67-58 win over New London-Spicer this evening.

Prairie Center North Star Hockey
The North Star posted a 3-1 win over Wadena-Deer Creek this evening. Hunter Fletcher had a hat trick.

The Melrose gymnastics team won the Brainerd Invite Saturday afternoon with a first place team score of 145.3.

Lady Dutchmen Basketball

The Lady Dutchmen broke into the win column with a 66-45 win over ACGC at Melrose. Cassie Klaphake led Melrose with 19 points and Maci Blommel had 18. It was the first win of the year of the team.  Video can be seen at https://youtu.be/WNlUlVC2N00

Dutchmen Basketball

Melrose stayed unbeaten with a 55-47 win over Albany in a battle of unbeatens tonight at Albany. Four Dutchmen reached double figures with Brady Birch scoring 20 for Melrose.
