MELROSE DUTCHMEN FOOTBALL
The Melrose Dutchmen rallied for a 21-18 win over
Montevideo on homecoming. Melrose scored at the end of the half to cut into a
12-0 deficit. A touchdown pass to Anthony Welle with no time on the clock, plus Colton Meyer's PAT made the score 12-6. Melrose took the lead at 13-12 in the third quarter On Zack Pierskalla's 61-yard run. The Dutchmen 18-13 in the fourth. It then had a defensive stand, forced a safety, and got the ball back in time for a game winning pass from Matthew Beste to Blake Gerads with 27 seconds left to win the game. Read more of the game
