 MELROSE DUTCHMEN FOOTBALL

The Melrose Dutchmen rallied for a 21-18 win over Montevideo on homecoming. Melrose scored at the end of the half to cut into a 12-0 deficit. A touchdown pass to Anthony Welle with no time on the clock, plus Colton Meyer's PAT made the score 12-6.  Melrose took the lead at 13-12 in the third quarter On Zack Pierskalla's 61-yard run.  The Dutchmen 18-13 in the fourth.  It then had a defensive stand, forced a safety, and got the ball back in time for a game winning pass from Matthew Beste to Blake Gerads with 27 seconds left to win the game. LADY DUTCHMEN SWIMMING

 Melrose topped Brainerd 91-86 tonight at Melrose.  The match was decide by the finishes in the 400FSR.  Melrose trailed through the first four events, but got going with a 1-2 finish by the diving corps. Scenes from the winning 400FSR can be seen at http://youtu.be/pOJhFnVmR2E.

LADY DUTCHMEN VOLLEYBALL

 DUTCHMEN SOCCER CLUB

Lady Dutchmen Swimming

Melrose defeated Holdingford 110-70. The team had good times in all events had had two divers top the 200 point mark. See highlights at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xlQYrnOJFtQ

Lady Dutchmen Volleyball

Melrose defeated YME 3-0 in volleyball this evening. Good play a the net, and in the back court led to the victory.  The Lady Dutchmen are unbeaten in WCC Play.

Melrose cross country

The Dutchmen finished sixth and the Lady Dutchmen 10th at an invitational in Sauk Centre. It marked the first time this year the Lady Dutchmen fielded a full time. 

Dutchmen Soccer
