received congratulations from Brennen Hoppe (10) and other Dutchmen after his third
inning run put tie the game with Sauk Centre.
The Dutchmen baseball team ended its season with a 15-9 record falling
7-3 to Sauk Centre Monday evening in St. Cloud in the playbacks of the Section 6AA tournament. A four-run fourth inning by Sauk Centre proved to be too much for Melrose to overcome. The Dutchmen finished 2-2 in the playoffs. Tyler Moscho had
two hits and Brady Birch two RBI.

Dutchmen Golf
The Dutchmen are one of the four teams still competing in
the Section 6AA meet at Blackberry Golf Course in Sartell. The top four teams
and top eight individuals compete on the second day. In yesterdays action Melrose
had respectable rounds recording a team score of 327. The day will determine
which teams and players qualify for state.
Lady Dutchmen Golf
The Lady Dutchmen struggled with the course and did not have
enough players to qualify for a team score. The tournament continues today, but
no Lady Dutchmen qualified for the second round.
Congratulations to the Dutchmen team for a tie and I wish them luck that they will win in the finals. Sad to know about the lady Dutchmen golf team.
