Lady Dutchmen Basketball
Maci Blommel kept her concentration on the basket as she
scored 11 points in Melrose’s 50-39 victory over Pierz Saturday at
Collegeville. Also reaching double figures was Cassie Klaphake with 21 points
and Makiya Luetmer with 11 points.

Brady Birch (35) snare a pass on the run from Dillon Haider
as Melrose defeated Braham 71-41 Saturday at Collegeville. The win was
highlight by Haider scoring 20 points, including the 1000th of his career. Birch finished with 10 points. The Dutchmen allowed only 15 first half
points. In the team’s Two good defensive games gave Melrose 83-49 win at
Montevideo on Friday it allowed only 15 second half points. Haider led the team
with 20 points Reegan Nelson had 12 and Jordan Klaphake 11.
