The Melrose Dutchmen defeated Eden Valley-Watkins Friday night 26-12. Zack Pierskalla had three touchdowns in the game and Tyler Braegelmann passed to Drake Meyer for another.More on the game in the Oct. 7 Melrose Beacon.
The Lady Dutchmen swim team finished second in the Section True team meet at Sartell. Melrose qualified for the state true team meet as a wild card selection.
The tennis team returned to Melrose with two first, two seconds, two thirds and one sixth at the West Central Conference individual contest.
