The Pierz Pioneers defeated Melrose 34-0 this evening at Pierz. The teams had very long half-time because of weather concerns.

The Pioneers controlled the line for scrimmage through out the game. Scoring on sustained drives and all but shutting down the Melrose offense. Melrose finished with 68 total yards in offense.
