The Melrose Rosettes have busy schedule this year. The team
had competition almost every weekend between now and the section competition,
Jan. 31 as Sauk Rapid-Rice. It will compete in the WCC competition on Jan. 22.
This year the team has a large group out for dance. It has
been able to field a varsity kick and jazz team, two junior varsity kick teams
and a junior varsity jazz unit.
The teams have gradually improved and with the varsity jazz taking
second and the varsity kick taking third at Brooten last week.
The team is coached by Caitlin Mayo.
The Melrose Rosettes finished second in the kick competition and third in the jazz division this evening at Brooten.
