Record Setter
Every point senior Emily Goerdt (receiving a hug) now scores for the Lady Dutchmen is a new Melrose record. Goerdt surpassed the Lady Dutchmen career mark of 1077 that has stood since Jan (Niehaus) Herke graduated in 1986. That record setting points came in the 71-34 loss to Sauk Centre. Unbeaten Dutchmen
The Melrose Dutchmen rallied late in the game to top Litchfield 54-50 at Litchfield. The win gives Melrose a 5-0 mark on the year.
North Star Victory
The Prairie Centre North Star Hockey team topped Redwood Valley at Sauk Centre this evening. it wa their first win of the year.
Gymnasts stay above 140.
The Lady Dutchmen gymnasts over came a few injuries to post a 141.625 win at Morris this evening. Melrose is unbeaten in dual meet competition.
Melrose-Sauk Centre Fusion
The swim team posted another dual meet win topping Alexandria 103-83 at Alexandria. The team capped the evening finishing 1-2 in the 400FSR Race.
Double header
It wil be a double header basketball night at Melrose this Friday. The Lady Dutchmen face Morris at 6 p.m. and the Dutchmen face Morris at about 7:30 p.m.
