DUTCHMEN BASKETBALL: Melrose defeated Sauk Centre 71-64 tonight.The Dutchmen played solid defensive game and had three players in double figures. Seth Noll had 24 points, Ben Klaphake 13 and Tyler Braegelmann 12.
Isaac Herkenhoff worked against Sauk Centrer's Shariff Silas but scored six points in the victory. Nathan Goebel (51) scored six points and blocked four shots.
Ben Klaphake (below) had one assist in the game but also scored 13 points in the Dutchmen's win.
SAUK CENTRE-MELROSE WRESTLING: The SCM wrestlers efeated LPGE 47-27. Jordan Winter (below left) and Arturo Stefanoni (below right) had pins and Will Funk (in video) had a technical fall.
