Overtime win in Playoffs
Annie Herkenhoff's game winning shot
Melrose-52 Osakis-51
Annie Herkenhoff's jump shot with about eight seconds to go in the game gave Melrose a 52-51 overtime win over Osakis in the Section 6AA-North playoffs. Herkenhoff finished the game with 14 points. Jenna Orth led the team with 17 points and Shelby Uphoff (24, right photograph) came off the bench to score 12 points.
Gabi Sawyer tied the game on a lay-up with less than a minute in regulation.

The Melrose Dutchmen earned the number two seed in the upcoming 6AA-Sub-Section North playoffs. Melrose opens the tournament facing Osakis Thursday, March 8 at Melrose. The Dutchmen conclude their regular season Thursday, March 1 hosting Morris.The Section 6AA-North Schedule is:
