FOOTBALL
Melrose fell 33-6 to New London-Spicer in its homecoming game.
The team's scoring came on a fourth quarter touchdown pass from Isaac Sawyer to Scottie Stone.

Thursday, Sept. 29

SWIMMING
The Lady Dutchmen topped Albany 67-35 at Albany. Melrose took first in all but the 100 backstoke.
TENNIS
Melrose moved to 14-2 on the year with a 7-0 over MACCRAY at Melrose.
SOCCER CLUBS
The boys team defeated Long Prairie-Grey Eagle 7-1 at Melrose.

SWIMMING
The Melrose swim team defeated St. Cloud/St. John's Prep  102-74.
TENNIS
The Lady Dutchmen tennis team won 5-2 at New London-Spicer.
VOLLEYBALL
The Lady Dutchmen volleyball team won defeated Albany 3-0. Game scores were: 25-21, 25-23, 28-26.

Monday, Sept. 26

SOCCER CLUBS
The Melrose Boys soccer club won 5-0.
The Melrose Girls soccer club fell 3-1.

The Melrose Dutchmen fell 28-12 at Paynesville. Victor Scherping scored on a 15-yard run. Scottie Stone scored on a 14-yard pass from Isaac Sawyer.

TENNIS
The Lady Dutchmen tennis team defeated Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa 7-0 at Belgrade.
VOLLEYBALL
Melrose defeated Minnewaska 3-1 at Melrose. Game scores were 25-18, 25-17, 20-25 and 25-17.
SOCCER
The girls' soccer club played to a 0-0 with a team from Sartell.

Tuesday, Sept. 20

SWIMMING
The Lady Dutchmen claimed 1-2-3 spots in the 100 backstroke as they posted a 113-71 win over Foley at Melrose. Melrose had the top times in every event, including the 400 freestyle relay, which it swam as a exhibition event.  Seniors Annie Herkenhoff and Samantha Rasmussen finished 1-2 in the 500 freestyle.
TENNIS
Melrose won 4-1 over Minnewaska at Melrose. The number three and number one singles events were tied at one set each, when rain forced them them to quit playing.  Melrose's double teams not only won, but all three won 6-0 6-0.
VOLLEYBALL
Melrose posted a five-game win at New  London. The game scores were 21-25, 25-17, 21-25, 25-19, 15-10. Shelby Uphoff had 13 kills, and was 25/25 with four ace serves for Melrose.
