Dutchmen Baseball
The Dutchmen baseball season ended in a10-2 loss this evening to Foley in St. Cloud. Tyler Braegelmann’s two doubles were the only Dutchmen hits and led to their two runs.
Melrose finished the year with a 15-7 record. It was 9-3 in the West Central Conference. The team finished 2-2 in the section playoffs. The team graduates nine seniors.
Dutchmen and Lady Dutchmen Golf
The Dutchmen golf team finished in six place at the Section 6AA
meet in Sartell this afternoon. Melrsoe top individual was Nate Loxtercamp. His
score of 84 qualified him for the individual competition on tomorrow.
The Lady Dutchmen as a team finished at 13th in the girls’
tournament.
No member of the Lady
Dutchmen qualified for the second day of competition.
Melrose Track
Lydia Butkowski will compete for the state track triple jump championship Saturday, June 6 at 3:30 p.m. at Hamline University, St. Paul.
There are 18 competitiors at the meet. Butkowski's Section distance of 34-11 is tenth among the state level competitors. Their distances in decending order are
